I had a fresh, hoppy, crisp IPA that brought me back to the "old days" of C-Note (if you know, you know), and a rich (and also hoppy) red. This is my new regular. Can't believe it wasn't already.”

Our journey began in the backyard of our Southeast Portland home in 2014, where we first began producing beer and selling it at local farmer’s markets in the Portland Metro area. Overtime, our business has evolved into a production and taproom located at 5812 East Burnside, which opened in late 2021. We are a certified kosher, community-centric, and family-operated 5BBL brewery. Owned by Sonia Marie and her partner Theo, the brewery was designed to bring together good beer and good people to do good.
